Tom Bauss
Tom Bauss was born on Maui, raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, attended Ricks College in Idaho and spent a year skiing in Utah before moving back to Maui in 1985. Tom worked in the restaurant business for 19 years. It was there that he learned the fine art of customer service.
In 2004 Tom bought the Tradewinds Mart and Deli in Maalaea Harbor. He had the pleasure of running the deli for 12 years. Tom really fell in love with the Maalaea Community. Working in the harbor made it easy to enjoy his love of sailing and diving.
After selling the deli Tom acquired his Real Estate License in 2017. He got interested in real estate after buying and selling a couple of houses of his own. Tom enjoys exploring the island for those special properties. Tom loves the Challenge of finding just the right home or piece of land for his clients.
Tom has lived in Haiku for 30 years and 20 of those living off the grid. He is the proud father of a 19 year old daughter who is currently a Sophomore at Washington State University.
