Kailie was born and raised on the North Shore of Maui. She grew up by the ocean and was always around the water because of her dad who is a professional windsurfer. Kailie also grew up to have an interest in hair and makeup because of her mom, who worked in the production industry as a producer.

Kailie grew up speaking Japanese in her household and taught herself English in kindergarten. Kailie still speaks fluent Japanese with her family.

After graduating from King Kekaulike High School, Kailie was working on productions as an assistant production coordinator. She enjoyed working on sets but realized that she wanted to do something that would let her express her creativity. So, she moved to Oahu to attend cosmetology school to become a hair and makeup artist. After completing school, Kailie moved back to Maui where she began her career doing hair and makeup for the wedding and fashion industry. Working in this industry she has been able to meet people from around the world who would often ask her about property in Maui. Her clients inspired her to pursue a career in real estate.

Outside of work, Kailie enjoys working out, beach days, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Kailie enjoys her Maui lifestyle and truly believes Maui is one of the best places to live in the world.
